The positive chart pattern like higher tops and bottoms is intact as per daily chart and Friday&#8217;s swing low of 19,635 could be considered as a new higher bottom of the sequence<\/em>,&#8221; Nagaraj Shetti, technical research analyst at HDFC Securities said.<strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sectoral indices display mixed market sentiments, with metal and PSU Bank on the top. On the contrary, the media and realty sectors are dragging the market today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-highlight-color\">Stock Market <strong>Sectors in the Green<\/strong> Today<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>NSE Metal Sector Stocks Today<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Amidst the Israel-Hamas turmoil and, threat around rising crude oil prices, the metal sector showing some potential upside in the share market today. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equentis.com\/blog\/understanding-nifty-your-key-to-the-indian-stock-market\/\">Nifty<\/a> Metal index gained 0.62% during the first two hours of today\u2019s market session with most of the gains coming from \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NMDC has gone up by 2.60% until now on the positive headwinds in the metal sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then there is Jindal Stainless Ltd. has gone up by 1.90% today. The price rise can be attributed to the overall positive sectoral trend and most importantly to its upcoming results on the 19<sup>th<\/sup> of this month.\u00a0The metal giant has also announced to consider interim dividends for the year 2023-24 during the meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>APL Apollo Tubes Ltd. also poured gains and surged by 1.45% until now due to the overall sector\u2019s positive movement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>NSE PSU Bank Sector Stocks Today<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Nifty PSU Bank is the second sectoral index to gain some in this volatile market. The index gained around 0.60% during the first half of today\u2019s market session mainly driven by &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Canara Bank, which gained 1.92%\u00a0until now following the announcement of the next board meeting on the 26<sup>th<\/sup> of this month. During the meeting, the financial results for the second quarter and first 6 months of the year will be revealed and investors seem positive about the same.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.equentis.com\/blog\/union-bank-share-price-all-you-need-to-know\/\">Union Bank<\/a> is the next stock from this sector to gain 1.60% due to general market movement in this sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Stock Market Sectors in the Red Today<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>NSE Realty Sector Stocks Today<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though the festive week has arrived, due to the geopolitical tension, the realty sector is down. The Nifty Realty index today fell by 0.44% until 11.44 a.m. in the share market. Major forces behind the fall include \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Phoenix Ltd., which has been already dragged by 4.42% following the analyst and institutional Investors call last Friday.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The next stock is Brigade has dragged the sectoral index by 1.15% as the overall <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equentis.com\/blog\/what-is-market-sentiment-how-to-analyse-it\/\">market sentiment<\/a> is sluggish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>NSE Media Sector Stocks Today<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The media sector is also down in the domestic share market today. The Nifty Media index is down by 0.14% until now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hathway has lost 0.99% until now. It has its board meeting around the corner on the 17<sup>th<\/sup> of this month. It seems the investors do not have positive sentiments regarding its upcoming results for the second quarter and first half of the year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zee Entertainment has also dipped by 0.97% following the change in its management. It appointed Mr Deepu Bansal as the Additional Director of the company.
