While the overall market was sluggish today, the consumer durables and media sector added some push to it, while the FMCG and metal sector mainly pulled it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Adani Ports: <\/strong>The top nifty gainer today is Adani Port, with a rise of 2.56% <\/strong><\/mark>and closed at 1044 following the company\u2019s intimation to the exchange about a board meeting to be held on 12 December, where the company can consider fundraising.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Power Grid Corporation: <\/strong>This power stock gained 2.38%<\/strong><\/mark> today following a rise in the power sector. The stock closed at 229.75, up from its previous close at 224.40.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Ultratech Cement:<\/strong> As the realty sector rose today, the cement company gained 1.82%<\/strong><\/mark> following its investors meeting today.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Cipla: <\/strong>The pharma stock gained 1.56% <\/strong><\/mark>following a rise in the pharma sector. The stock closed at 1223.95, while it closed yesterday at 1205.20.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    2. HUL:<\/strong> This heavyweight stock witnessed selling pressure as the FMCG sector was down today. The stock fell 1.77%<\/strong><\/mark> during the day and finally closed at 2522.15.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Apollo Hospitals:<\/strong> Though the healthcare sector gained today, this healthcare stock dropped 1.55%<\/strong><\/mark> and closed at 5457, down from its previous day\u2019s closing price of 5543.10.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. ONGC:<\/strong> This oil and gas stock fell 1.44%, <\/mark><\/strong>closing at 199.05 even though the oil and gas sector boomed today. This is probably due to the volatility in the oil price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Tata Steel:<\/strong> This stock is one of the heavyweight stocks that witnessed selling pressure today. It fell 1.37%,<\/strong><\/mark> closing at 130.05, down from its last day\u2019s close of 131.85.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Today, selling pressure in the heavyweight stocks mainly pulled the market down on the domestic front. However, the market was not concentrated today, as the top nifty gainers and top nifty losers are from multiple sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
