Hello guys! It’s Wednesday, and we are back with our next episode of Bazaar ke Sanskaar for you.

So, we have a question today: Do you borrow from your friends or relatives to invest in the stock market? In today’s episode, our friends Maya and Ayaan discuss whether borrowing from friends is the way to go.

If you still haven’t seen our last episode, here is a quick explanation of Bazaar ke Sanskaar, our educational series for investors. Through short stories, it highlights the dos and don’ts of investing to help you make informed decisions and cultivate sound investment habits.

Kya hua Ayaan? Kabse tumhara phone baj raha hai. Uthate kyon nahi?

Ab kya bataun! Maine kuch doston aur rishtedaaron se paise udhar leke stock market mein invest kar diye the.

Oh, aage ki kahani main samajh gayi. Loss hua hoga aur ab wo tumhe paise lautane ke liye bol rahe hain. Hai na?

Everybody is investing in the market like crazy aur mere paas paise nahi the. Socha ki jaise hi stock price upar jaayega,  I will sell off and book the p—buts. But loss ho gaya.

Markets are highly unpredictable. Jahan itni uncertainties ho wahan udhaar ke paise to bhool kar bhi nahi invest karna chahiye.

Haan. Sahi baat hai. Mujhe dar hai ki in paison ki wajah se sabse mere rishte naa kharab ho jaayen.

Ye galati ab aage kabhi mat karna. Market mein utna hi invest karo jitna tumhara risk apetite ho. Aur haan, idhar udhar se maangkar to bilkul nahi.

Bilkul bhi nahi. I have learned my lesson.

Jab bhi tumhare paas thode zyada paise ho, bas unka hi ek part invest kar do. Jisse agar loss bhi ho to tumhare important kaam suffer naa karen.

Take note: borrowing money from friends or relatives to invest in the market is a big no. Never do that. Focus on long-term investments and make smart choices.
